FLP - The Financial Literacy Program

Morgan State University has partnered with Norflet Progress Fund to conduct a series of free workshops aimed at improving financial literacy in the Baltimore community. This partnership is funded by Norflet’s Path to Financial Independence Grant, coordinated by the Southern University Center for Social Research, and administered through Morgan State University’s Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management (Department of Accounting and Finance).

MSU's Morgan Mile Financial Literacy Program is a community-focused effort aimed at providing information and tools on topics including understanding debt and credit, budgeting, financial and tax planning, savings tips, and investing for everyone.

  • Vision: Deliver pertinent financial literary training and other finance literacy resources to residents within the sphere of Morgan State University.
  • Mission: Enhance understanding of personal finance concepts and develop long-lasting wealth management skills.
